  • Comfortable, Artful Stay in the Heart of North Adams

    We stayed for six nights at Hotel Downstreet and found it to be a comfortable, well-located base for exploring North Adams. The hotel offers many appealing features, including a spacious lobby with coffee, pastries, and fruit in the morning. Our room was large, and the upper floors provide wonderful views—personally, we especially enjoyed the mountain-facing side.

    The hotel is efficient, thoughtfully run, and its support of the arts through ground-floor studios and galleries adds a meaningful local touch. The location was excellent, with easy walking access to downtown and major attractions such as MASS MoCA.

  • Great Accommodation with Views

    When travelling on the Mohawk Trail, we decided to visit North Adams overnight and Hotel Downstreet was a very good choice. The hotel felt fresh and the rooms were very spacious. The views of beautiful North Adams and the surrounding hills were simply breathtaking. We were able to relax in the pool and hot tub, the perfect break from hiking. The entire hotel was very clean and we had everything we needed. In the lobby you could always get drinks or fruit, and light breakfast.

  • Outstanding Hotel and a Great Experience

    We had stayed in November of 2025 and enjoyed this property so much that we returned in March of 2026. The rooms and common areas are spotless as well as the Great Pool and Hot Tub. The STAFF went above and beyond from the front desk to the maintenance staff. The coffee bar in the lobby was stocked with coffee as well as goodies at all times. This hotel is within walking distance to eateries as well as a few shops. A big shout out to Bethany and also the General Manager Janine who runs an outstanding property. We are looking forward to returning in the spring. The views of the mountains are priceless and I highly recommend this hotel to everyone interested in staying in a great property.
